Agaete, the town of Gran Canaria, will receive the festival Trails in Motion, cinematographic festival dedicated to trail running, that will projected eight stories in original version with Spanish subtitles dedicated to this sports specialty.
The stories comes from different nationalities, and will move the spectator to amazing regions of the planet where they can see the essence of this sports taken to the screen.
Among the short films, they will be “Controlled silence”, “Changing course”, “In constant motion” –prizewinning like the best short film of the Vancouver Festival- and “Best foot forward”.
The target of this event, framing inside the Bio@gaete Cultural Solidario Festival, is to reflect the spirit of trail running and developing a social experience of this sport through a emotional connection between who share the passion for mountain, running and outdoor activities, according to the organization.
It will be this Thursday, 23rd August, on the Tea Space of Agaete, where at 20:00 PM will start the festival. For achieving the tickets, the spectators should go to ticketea.com, although the generated benefits will be destined on a solidary way to Flora Acoge, Ben Magec and Mi hijo y yo, non-profit organizations who work in favor to the social inclusion, family development and the defense of the environment.
Besides this festival, it celebrated the night race Bio Trail, who will walk the trails of the Biosphere Reserve of Gran Canaria, and the trails of biggest nature beauty of Agaete, from sea to mountain. This will be on next Friday at 21 PM, organized by the Agaeterun club, in collaboration with Bioagaete Cultural Solidario.
