There are cities where the cinema stops more frequently. If we have to name some of them, we think on New York, London or Paris. But, what are the most seem cities of the cinema?
The American cities win. New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle or Los Angeles are the most frequent cities on the movies of any time. We can remember New York on Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the movies of the TV series Sex and The City, Ghostbusters, King Kong, etc. The West Coast is present too on movies like La La Land, Pretty Woman, Sweet November and Mrs. Doubtfire, among others. And cities like Las Vegas, who has full movies dedicated to them like The Hangover, Leaving Las Vegas or Ocean’s Eleven.
Crossing the ocean, we go to London, set of movies like Notting Hill, Love Actually, Bridget Jones’ Diary or the Harry Potter’s saga. Another famous city for cinema is Roma, where were filmed movies like Eat, Pray, Love, Roman Holiday or Angels and Demons. In Paris, we also find characters like Amèlie, or Owen Wilson taking a walk on Midnight in Paris.
Berlin, Amsterdam and Hong Kong are less usual but also have their space on cinema. Amsterdam, for example, receive the filming of The Fault is in our Stars, The Hitman’s Bodyguard or Deuce Bigalow, European Gigolo.
All of them are movie destinations that you can visit travelling or from the movie theater. Who have not dream any time with stop in front of Tiffany’s like Audrey Hepburn, or entry in a book shop like the one on Notting Hill? Seeing these movies, is your desire of travel is bigger, isn’t it?
