Wonder Woman 1984′s twitter un-official account has upload new images of Fuerteventura’s set, where part of the film will be filmed on September. These images, published on August the 24th, show the great sandy extension and what it seems to be a little town. In the account’s words from an old tweet, this is an «Egyptian village».

Wonder Woman 1984 will film in the Canary Islands on September, part in Fuerteventura, part in Tenerife, besides Almería. -As a curiosity, let remember the producers announced the filming in “Spain and the Canary Islands” besides US and UK sets).
As it can be read in its title, the film is based on 1984 just in the middle of the Cold War. Kristen Wiig is playing the main antagonist, Cheetah. In comics, the last incarnation of this supervillain got transformed in a fictional country in Africa. Is it possible Fuerteventura’s set implies a scene with a first fight between the Amazon warrior and her foe? We can only just suppose.
Wonder Woman 1984 has it worlwide release date set on november the 1st. Gal Gadot will lead the casting again as the superhero, Chris Pine will play departed Steve Trevot, Kristen Wiig as Cheetah and Pedro Pascal in an unknown character. Patty Jenkins is directing it again.
